Analysis and Evaluation of Barriers Influencing Blockchain Implementation in Moroccan Sustainable Supply Chain Management: An Integrated IFAHP-DEMATEL Framework

Blockchain technology has received wide attention during recent years, and huge potential to transform improve supply chain management. However, its implementation in the SSCM (Sustainable Supply Chain Management) strategy is sophisticated, challenges are not explored very well, especially Moroccan context. To this end, chief objective of current endeavor investigate barriers that hinder adoption blockchain from industry service sectors’ perspective. Based on a comprehensive literature search use experts’ viewpoints, affecting successful classified into three categories called TEO: technological system, environmental, intra-organizational dimensions. In context, fuzzy group decision-making framework organized by combining DEMATEL (Decision-Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory) IFAHP (Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process). The technique helps determine importance/priorities adoption, while forms cause–effect interconnections between these classifies them concerning degree importance relationships. results reveal ‘government policy support’ ‘challenges integrating sustainable practices through SCM’ significant SSCM. proposed solution can support industrial decision makers form flexible short- long-term strategies efficiently manage chain.
